Description
As a QA Engineer for Nevio, your main responsibilities will include: - **Test Planning & Strategy** - Coordinate with R&D and Product teams to gather requirements. - Define and maintain test strategies and plans aligned with the development lifecycle. - Ensure requirement traceability and coverage throughout the SDLC. - **Test Design & Execution** - Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for OrMS applications. - Validate functional, integration, and regression testing for software releases. - Ensure compliance with performance, accessibility, and security requirements. - **Defect Management** - Identify, log, and track defects using standard tools. - Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues promptly. - **Quality Metrics & Reporting** - Monitor KPIs such as defect density, test coverage, and success rates. - Provide clear reporting on test results and quality status to stakeholders. - **Release Management** - Design continuous testing pipelines and provide sign-offs (Go/No-Go) for production releases. - Support production releases and monitor feedback loops to improve regression suites. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in QA for distributed systems. - Strong expertise in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and API testing (Postman, REST Assured). - Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter) and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git). - Knowledge of Agile QA practices and BDD frameworks (Cucumber). - Basic SQL skills for database validation. - Understanding of airline or travel solutions and security compliance. - Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
