Job Description

Job Title: Automation Tester

Experience: 6 months to 2 years
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Automation Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
Execute automated test cases and analyze results.
Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to resolve issues.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings.
Ensure test coverage, test data setup, and maintain automation frameworks.
Provide regular updates on test progress and quality metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 6 months to 2 years in automation testing.
Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver or similar automation tools.
Proficiency in at least one programming language
Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with API testing (Postman/RestAssured is a plus).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) is an advantage.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter).
Experience in writing SQL queries for database validation.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
