Job Title: QA Automation Engineer – Python (API Testing) Location: Gurugram, India Experience: 4 to 8 years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python and API testing to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in developing automated test scripts, building robust automation frameworks, and testing RESTful APIs. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python . Build and enhance test automation frameworks for API testing. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of RESTful APIs. Work closely with development and product teams to understand application features and architecture. Analyze test results, identify bugs, and report them with detailed logs and reproduction steps. Participate in code reviews , automation planning, and continuous integration efforts. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Maintain and improve existing automation infrastructure. Contribute to test planning, test strategy, and QA process improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4–8 years of experience in QA automation testing , particularly with Python . Strong knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman , PyTest , Requests , or Robot Framework . Proficient in writing and maintaining automation test cases in Python . Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, Behave). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
