QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer specializing in Selenium and C#, you will play a crucial role in designing, constructing, and sustaining scalable automated testing frameworks for our web applications. Your deep understanding of software testing methodologies will empower you to craft automated test cases from scratch, ensuring top-notch quality across the product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with C#, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test coverage, building reusable automation frameworks, executing various tests including UI, regression, smoke, and integration tests, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines, identifying test gaps through code reviews, managing defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps, and actively participating in sprint activities. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 1 year of QA Automation experience focusing on Selenium and C#, a solid grasp of OOP principles and proficiency in C# coding, familiarity with test automation frameworks like NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit, a good understanding of web technologies, DOM structure, and browser behavior, knowledge of tools such as Git, experience in Agile/Scrum settings, and proficiency in API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured. Additionally, it would be advantageous if you have experience with BDD tools like SpecFlow or Cucumber, exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, knowledge of Docker or containerized test environments, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required for this position, or equivalent experience.
