Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of product compliance experience; ideally in a closely related consumer products industry (i.e. automotive, powersports) Advanced knowledge of engineering product compliance testing & validation processes; certification processes; product development process (PDP). Lead, Sourcing will be responsible for developing, driving, and maintaining the strategic sourcing of production components to support various Polaris manufacturing operations. The focus of this role will be on supply base that is located within the Indian regions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Serve as a lead for strategic tasks such as category strategy setup, supplier contract and commercial negotiations, presentations to senior management, point of escalation for supply chain emerging issues, process owner for key continuous improvement efforts, and development of category sourcing strategies together with US counterpart. Establish strong working relationships with management-level employees from key suppliers who provide Chassis & Powertrain components to Polaris. Work with a sense of urgency when supplier issues arise and lead problem resolution discussions with suppliers to drive immediate containment and corrective action. Work with Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to drive short and long-term root cause corrections. Monitor and drive supplier performance for assigned categories to ensure suppliers are meeting Polaris requirements for quality, delivery, and cost. Identify new potential suppliers based on current gaps in the Polaris supply base that can deliver results and a sustainable, world class supply chain and work with Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) team to deliver onboarding target at planned time. Collaborate with cross functional teams to enable development for new products to ensure a successful product launch, on budget, and meet or exceed the production release schedule. Develop capacity assessments with key suppliers to ensure supply continuity. Determine risks in the Asia supply chain and work with the supply chain on mitigation plans.
