Role: Senior Python Developer

Experience: 3–8 years ; Position-2

Location: Hyderabad, India (WFO)

Role Overview

Seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong Python skills and experience in BI or data-driven platforms to build scalable applications, integrate data workflows, and support analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business and technical requirements.

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python.

· Implement server-side logic and ensure smooth integration with front-end components.

· Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure high reliability.

· Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage structured and unstructured data.

· Integrate backend services with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

· Contribute to feature evaluation, prioritization, and provide informed technical guidance.

· Perform peer code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Required Skill sets

· Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.

· Solid understanding of object-oriented design, multithreading, and multiprocessing.

· Expertise in server-side templating, RESTful API development, and microservices architecture.

· Practical experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.) and data modeling.

· Good knowledge of ETL processes, data pipelines, and integration techniques.

· Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.

· Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and using debugging tools.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including working with large datasets for application and BI scenarios.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership qualities.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

· Experience with BI/Analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, with the ability to integrate and optimize backend services for BI dashboards.

· Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data storage, processing, and application deployment.

· Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

· Working knowledge of Python data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for BI-related use cases.

· Understanding of Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
