Python Developer (On-site, India)

About The Opportunity

We are hiring an on-site Python Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering backend services and APIs for mission-critical applications. You will work in an agile product environment to design, implement, test, and operate backend systems that scale with user demand and integrate with cloud platforms and third-party services.Role & Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, well-documented backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and modern web frameworks.
Develop database schemas and optimize queries for PostgreSQL to ensure performance and data integrity at scale.
Write automated unit and integration tests; maintain CI/CD pipelines and support release processes for production deployments.
Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps to translate requirements into reliable features and APIs.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes and monitoring.
Follow engineering best practices: code reviews, documentation, secure coding, and observability for backend services.
