Description
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI).Build and optimize RESTful APIs for high performance and scalability.Work with PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.Perform data manipulation, analysis, and transformation using Pandas.Deploy and manage containerized applications using Cloud Run.Integrate and maintain Cloud SQL databases with backend applications.Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.Ensure application security, reliability, and performance in a cloud environment.Requirements
Backend Developer (Python – Microservices & APIs) – 6 to 8 Years Experience6–8 years of experience in backend development with Python, building scalable REST APIs and microservicesProficient in frameworks like FastAPI, with strong API design and integration skillsHands-on experience with GCP services, BigQuery, and data orchestration between systemsFamiliar with SQL / NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and asynchronous programmingExposure to CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration testing (e.g., Pytest), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of API security, OAuth2, and token-based authentication flowsAbility to collaborate with frontend, MLOps, and data engineering teams to ensure service consistencyFamiliar with JWT-based authentication, SSO integration, and role-based access controlsWorking knowledge of TypeScript, API versioning, error handling strategies, and performance tuningExperience with monitoring/logging tools for API observabilityAbility to work in Agile setups and coordinate closely with frontend, QA, and DevOps teamsJob responsibilitiesStrong programming skills in Python.Proven experience with FastAPI (or other modern Python frameworks like Flask/Django).Good knowledge of PostgreSQL (queries, indexing, optimization).Hands-on experience with Pandas for data wrangling and transformations.Solid understanding of GCP services:Cloud Run (serverless deployments).Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL managed DB).Experience working with Docker containers.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.What we offerCulture of caring.
