Position Details: Job Role: Purchase Manager Experience Required : 10-12 Years in purchase of Raw Material for pharmaceutical industries ( API ) from domestic and import from other countries. Also R & D related small quantity raw material import from China & other country. Qualification: BSc/MSc Chemistry Location : Vadodara, Gujarat Roles and Responsibilities Manage all purchasing activities, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services meets the company's quality and cost expectations. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster mutually beneficial partnerships. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, optimizing cost-effectiveness while ensuring quality standards are upheld. Coordinate with internal teams and departments to understand procurement needs and align purchasing strategies accordingly. Utilize APIs and other technology tools to streamline procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency. Monitor market trends to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and adjust purchasing strategies proactively. Lead and mentor the purchasing team to ensure their ongoing development and alignment with company objectives.
