Roles & Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and schedule all purchasing activities in alignment with organizational goals.
Manage procurement operations in an ERP/SAP-driven environment.
Ensure compliance with
import policies
and
EXIM procedures
.
Maintain and utilize a strong vendor/materials database across India.
Track and achieve purchase-related
measurable deliverables
(cost, quality, timelines).
Proactively take accountability for sourcing, order management, and procurement execution.
Drive
vendor development
and maintain
QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery)
parameters.
Monitor, evaluate, and upgrade supplier performance regularly.
Handle
RFQ (Request for Quotation)
processes end-to-end.
Manage and support the complete procurement lifecycle for assigned programs.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
procurement procedures
and
commercial terms
.
Experience handling
purchase volumes of INR 300–500 million
.
Excellent
negotiation
and
vendor management
skills.
Proven track record of achieving measurable procurement goals.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
