Job Description

You will be working as a Purchasing Engineer in a well-known PEB Design & Construction Company based in Chennai. Your main responsibility will be to manage purchasing processes, purchase planning, and purchase orders. This role requires you to ensure accurate purchase management, maintain supplier relationships, and analyze purchasing data to enhance procurement strategies. Collaboration with the engineering and operations teams is crucial to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.E. in Civil Engineering, preferably a fresher or with 1 year of experience. Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning is essential. You should also have experience in handling Purchase Orders, possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.,
