Position: Purchase Assistant

Location: Khalapur, KHOPOLI, Raigad, Maharashtra

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline

Experience: 2-5 years

Salary: Up to 3.60 LPA (As per Experience)

Job Summary:-

The Purchase assistant will be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, consumables, and other essential items required for our steel manufacturing operations. This role demands a strong understanding of steel industry raw materials, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to supplier management and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Raw Material Procurement

• Negotiation and Vendor Management

• Order Management and Logistics

• Cost Optimization and Reporting

• Compliance and Quality Assurance

Required Qualifications and Skills:-

• Qualification any Graduate.

• 2-5 years of proven experience in a Purchase/Procurement role, preferably within a steel manufacturing or heavy engineering industry.

• In-depth knowledge of various raw materials used in a steel factory, including their specifications, grades, and applications (e.g., HR Coils, CR Coils, plates, structural steel, nuts, bolts, welding consumables, ferro alloys, scrap, etc.).

• Strong negotiation and communication (written and verbal) skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
