Purchase & Store Executive

• Identify and source suppliers for textile machinery spares, tools, and related materials.
• Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders.
• Ensure timely delivery of parts as per production and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain vendor database and assess supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost).
• Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.
• Track purchase requisitions and maintain purchase records in ERP or inventory systems.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming spares and consumables.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and binning of parts for easy identification and retrieval.
• Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels; generate reorder alerts.
• Issue materials to maintenance and production departments against authorized requests.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical vs. system stock.
• Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend disposal or reuse.
• Liaise with the maintenance and production teams to forecast spare part requirements.
• Coordinate with logistics and transport vendors for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock, consumption, and purchases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards in store operations.
• Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience: 3–7 years in purchasing and stores management, preferably in textile machinery or engineering industries.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Understanding of textile machinery components and spares.
• Familiarity with vendor management and sourcing processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar).
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good organizational and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
