1. Procurement: Source and procure raw materials, components, and services required for furniture production, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
2. Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
3. Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet production demands while minimizing waste and excess.
4. Cost Control: Analyze and optimize procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
5. Quality Control: Ensure that all purchased materials and components meet quality standards, conducting inspections and audits as necessary.
6. Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
7. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage procurement budgets, forecasting demand and adjusting procurement strategies accordingly.
8. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
