Purchase Manager

Requirement

• Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Management and leadership skills.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Negotiator

Responsibilities:

• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business
• Job Related Reports and Dashboards
• Collaborate with inventory control and sales to develop metrics for gauging inventory level needs and then maintaining those levels throughout the year
• Take the lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses
• Manage the company's day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure that all purchasing agents are meeting theirpersonal performance standards
• Strategic vendor management and collaboration
• Enabling, Owning Automation in your and associated functions.
• Retail maximization - Planning , Implementation and monitoring of the retail needs of the business.
• Assist in developing more effective invoicing and collecting processes
• Team Management

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or business administration in supply chain management, logistics, operations.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience.
