Purchase Manager

As an experienced Purchase Manager at Hi Tech Agro, your role will be crucial in leading the procurement for fabrication, machining, and assembly spares & consumables. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing procurement strategies to reduce costs and enhance efficiency, sourcing and negotiating with reliable suppliers across India, collaborating with engineering, operations, and projects teams for seamless procurement planning, monitoring inventory levels, forecasts, and supplier performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with ethical and sustainable sourcing practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop & implement procurement strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiency - Source and negotiate with reliable suppliers across India - Collaborate with engineering, operations, and projects teams for seamless procurement planning - Monitor inventory levels, forecasts, and supplier performance - Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes - Ensure compliance with ethical, sustainable sourcing practices Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (Masters a plus) - 5+ years experience in purchasing/procurement in Indian manufacturing (fabrication/machining/assembly preferred) - Strong negotiation, vendor management, and inventory management skills - Familiarity with ERP/procurement software - Analytical mindset, excellent communication, and ability to work cross-functionally - Patient, persistent, detail-oriented, and proactive Joining Hi Tech Agro will provide you with the opportunity to work at the Head Office located in Dwarka, New Delhi.,
