Autocad Drafter

Experience Required:

We are seeking an AutoCAD drafter. This individual should have experience of being a part of the R&D and engineering department and has worked closely with the Production team.

Responsibilities will include producing detailed models, assemblies, and production drawings

for new and existing products.

• Expert in AUTOCAD creating parts, assemblies, design tables and drawings.
• 1 – 2 years of overall Design experience in AUTOCAD and manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD creating 2D drawings & SolidWorks.
• Mechanical background, preferably in sheet metal work, fabrication, machining, piping, blowers, structures.
• Experienced in sheet metal design
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.
• Ability to communicate with CNC Plasma machine operators, engineers.
• Proficient with MS Office

The following criteria are also required:

• A Trade Qualification (Metal Trades) or Engineering Degree Qualification is preferred
• Prior exposure to Structural, Mechanical, and Piping work within the resources sector.

• Create models of current mechanical designs utilizing solid works.

• New Product Design/Development
• Technical Documentation Content
• Maintain/Update CAD Library
