Job Description: Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies for cost optimisation and enhancing supply chain efficiency. Complete management of raw materials, packing material, ingredients for herbal products. Documentation and record keeping such as POs, Quotations, Material Receiving Reports, correspondence and enquiries with follow ups. Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards. Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, payment terms and mutually beneficial agreements. Conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities and pricing fluctuations. Implement procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Manage supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluations and issue resolution. Analyse inventory levels, demand forecasts and consumption patterns to optimise stock levels and reduce carrying costs. Continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to sourcing activities.
