Job Title: Production and Planning Coordinator
Industry: Garments / Apparel Manufacturing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a experienced Purchase Executive to join our team , a leading garments and apparel manufacturing company based in Angamaly, Kerala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchases, sourcing materials, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with production team, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth production flow
- Plan and schedule production orders, including material procurement and allocation
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and manage inventory levels
- Analyze production data and provide insights for improvement
- Assist in production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning
- Coordinate with quality control team to ensure product quality
- Prepare production reports and MIS as required
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in garments production planning or coordination
- Diploma or degree in textile, fashion, or related field
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and planning software (e.g., Excel, ERP)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
