Purchase Executive

**Location:** : Pune**Job Type:** : Full-time, Permanent**Job Summary:**We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to oversee and optimize the company s procurement and sourcing operations
The role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, packaging supplies, and other inventory essentials required for smooth production The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining product quality, cost efficiency, and uninterrupted production flow in the food and beverage segment **Key Responsibilities:**- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, and other essentials - Ensure procurement aligns with cost-effectiveness and quality standards - Maintain a strong supplier base and build long-term vendor relationships - Assess supplier performance regularly and recommend improvements - Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and quality teams for inventory planning and stock forecasting - Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply and timely replenishment - Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) as required - Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery **Required Qualifications and Skills**- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field - Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, preferably in the FMCG, food, or manufacturing sectors - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and procurement software - Excellent communication and coordination abilities - Analytical mindset and attention to detail
