Job Purpose
To efficiently manage the procurement of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and services required for daily operations. Ensure timely sourcing, cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and vendor compliance as per company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and build strong vendor relationships.
Raise Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requisitions and track deliveries.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials like flour, cheese, meats, packaging items, kitchen tools, etc.
Maintain accurate purchase records, stock levels, and inventory updates.
Coordinate with stores, kitchen, and accounts for stock and payment-related matters.
Conduct regular market analysis to compare prices and ensure cost-efficiency.
Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality, etc.
Ensure procurement complies with food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist in monthly budgeting and forecasting of procurement needs.
Liaise with warehouse and logistics team for inbound and inter-outlet material movement.
Key Skills Required
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of F&B raw materials and packaging
Familiarity with procurement software / ERP systems
Attention to detail and analytical skills
Vendor management and market research capability
Basic understanding of food quality and safety norms
Educational Qualification & Experience
Bachelor s Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, or any relevant field
2 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the F&B or hospitality sector
