Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for procurement planning, vendor coordination, and stock management. The role involves ensuring product availability, vendor appointments, and screening of new products as per organizational standards, while also supporting seasonal and promotional sales planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock & Procurement Management

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with floor in-charge for requirements.

Raise Purchase Orders (POs) after approvals.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination

Coordinate with Admin for scheduling appointments between new suppliers and MD.

Conduct initial product screening based on organizational standards before presenting to MD.

Product & Inventory Monitoring

Conduct regular floor visits to assess stock movements, shelf arrangements, and product availability.

Identify slow-moving / liquidation products and report to MD for clearance or promotional offers.

Sales & Promotions Planning

Plan in advance for procurement of festival and seasonal products to meet customer demand.

Assist in creating offers and promotions to maximize sales.

Compliance & Records

Maintain proper purchase records, supplier details, and stock movement data.

Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards in procurement.

Skills & Requirements:

Graduate in Business Administration / Supply Chain / Commerce (preferred).

2–4 years of experience in purchase, inventory, or supply chain management.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Knowledge of MS Office / ERP systems will be an added advantage.

Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple suppliers.

Job Types: Part-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
