Job Description

Job Description: Purchase Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Material Procurement:
Identify and source high-quality materials and components for SPM manufacturing.
Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings.
Ensure on-time delivery of materials and maintain inventory levels.
Vendor Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Conduct periodic vendor audits to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
Technical Evaluation:
Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand material requirements.
Assess and approve materials based on technical specifications and project needs.
Cost Optimization:
Analyze market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Continuously work on improving procurement strategies.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Prepare and submit reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience (3–5 years) in procurement for SPM manufacturing or related industries.
Strong knowledge of materials and components used in SPM machines.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
