Job Description

PR Specialist (3–5 years)

You’ll Own

  • PR Strategy & Calendar:

     Build a media-worthy narrative and quarterly PR calendar that ladders up to brand and leadership growth goals.
  • Media Relations:

     Pitch, place, and nurture coverage across 

    tier-1 + tier - 2

     outlets; maintain a warm press list.
  • Announcements & Thought Leadership:

     Own press releases, media notes, op-eds, founder POVs, data stories, and bylines.
  • Event & Partnership PR:

     Drive coverage for launches, stunts, collabs, IRL activations; continuously identify 

    earned + barter + co-branded

     opportunities.
  • Crisis Comms:

     Draft holding statements, FAQs, and response protocols; coordinate with legal/ops.
  • Influencer & Creator PR:

     Partner with social to seed stories, track mentions, and amplify earned wins.
  • Measurement:

     Track 

    Share of Voice (SoV), sentiment, tier-weighted coverage, referral traffic, backlinks, CPA from PR

    , and 

    cost per placement

    ; feed insights back to brand/performance.
  • Founders & Spokesperson Readiness:

     Media-train stakeholders; build briefing docs and talk tracks.
  • Agency & Vendor Management (if any):

     Brief, align, negotiate, and hold to outcomes.

What You’ve Done (Must-haves)

  • 3–5 years in 

    PR/comms

     for 

    B2C/D2C mobile app/subscription-based digital

     brands.
  • Live media network: 

    reporters, editors, producers

     (national + regional).
  • End-to-end PR ownership: strategy → pitching → placements → reporting.
  • Strong 

    negotiation

     and 

    relationship

     skills; proven “get-it-done” track record.
  • Exceptional writing (press releases, op-eds, statements, Q&As).
  • Comfortable with metrics: 

    share of voice, sentiment, referral lift, backlinks

    .
  • Multi-lingual

     with strong spoken + written skills is a

    big plus

    .

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with 

    consumer tech launches

    , app feature PR, and 

    data-storytelling

    .
  • Prior work placing 

    founder profiles

     and 

    tech-for-good

     narratives.
  • Understanding of 

    SEO + digital PR

    ; familiarity with 

    creator economy

  • Hyderabad base (or willing to relocate)
