- OML Talent: OML’s legacy business representing over 90+ of the most influential creators, comedians, writers, and storytellers shaping India’s entertainment landscape.
- OML Studios: Developing and producing original long-form content for television and streaming platforms with over 35+ shows and 75+ comedy specials across Amazon Prime, Netflix, MTV, Jio Hotstar and more. Also producing branded content for agencies and brands.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Jr. Associate to help with Public Relations who can shape how OML shows up. In the press, on social media platforms, and in popular culture. You’ll be the bridge between our creative work, our leadership voice, and the conversations shaping the media and marketing landscape.This isn’t a press release factory role. You’ll craft stories that travel from brand and business announcements to thought-leadership features, award wins, and cultural moments. You’ll work together with our PR agency partners, build relationships with journalists, and execute directly when it comes to high-impact communication and CXO visibility.You’ll work across businesses, ensuring our stories land in the right places, in the right tone, at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PR campaigns and media outreach for OML’s own projects and milestones.
- Build and maintain a database of relevant journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
- Draft press releases, pitches, and media briefs.
- Monitor press coverage and report on campaign performance.
- Coordinate interviews, press kits, and media requests.
Strategy & comms
- Develop and execute a holistic PR strategy that builds visibility for OML and its businesses across marketing, entertainment, and creator ecosystems.
- Partner with leadership to shape strategic communication plans that position OML as a leading voice in culture, creativity, and entertainment.
Media Relations & Execution
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and key industry publications across advertising, entertainment, and business media.
- Manage PR partners and ensure alignment with OML’s tone, goals, and cultural context.
- Write and edit press releases, media notes, and statements for key announcements, partnerships, and campaigns.
- Proactively pitch and place stories that showcase OML’s work, thought leadership, and creative impact.
Leadership & Corporate Communications
- Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to craft op-eds, bylines, and public statements.
- Manage LinkedIn and thought-leadership content pipelines for OML’s CXOs — helping shape how the leadership team participates in the larger creative conversation.
- Support internal communication moments that need external amplification.
Artist PR & Community
- Coordinate with the Artist management and PR partners to align messaging, press opportunities, and media visibility across OML’s talent ecosystem.
- Ensure synergy between artist-related PR and the OML brand narrative — especially during key tours, releases, or collaborations.
Awards, Events & Recognition
- Drive OML’s participation in key industry awards, festivals, and panels — from submissions to on-ground representation.
- Identify thought-leadership and speaking opportunities for OML leaders and teams at relevant forums.
- Craft and distrib
- Ute award submissions, case write-ups, and communication material with editorial and creative partners.
Measurement & Insights
- Track coverage, sentiment, and share of voice across categories.
- Analyze what’s working and refine outreach strategies accordingly.
- Maintain a database of press contacts, coverage, and outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- 2-4 years in PR at an agency, brand or new-media company
- Relationships with journalists across advertising, marketing, entertainment, and business press.
- Exceptional writing skills — sharp, clear, and brand-appropriate across long and short formats.
- A pulse on entertainment, youth culture, and lifestyle media.
- Proactive attitude and comfort with fast turnarounds.
- Ability to balance proactive storytelling with reactive communication and reputation management.
- Hands-on experience in working with PR agencies and cross-functional collaboration
- An instinct for culture, knowing when a story is worth telling and when to let it pass.
- Confident, organised, and comfortable working directly with business heads
