Public Relations/ Media/ Publicity Internship (Work From Home / Hybrid) About the Role: We are seeking a creative and driven Public Relations & Media intern with a background in Mass Communication to support our external communications, media outreach, and brand visibility efforts. The ideal candidate will be skilled in storytelling, press relations, digital media, and crafting compelling narratives across platforms. This is a remote-friendly role , ideal for professionals who are self-motivated, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently and in a hybrid format. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand image and public presence Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and communication materials Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and media houses Monitor media coverage and prepare performance reports (coverage, reach, sentiment analysis) Draft, pitch, and successfully feature articles, op-eds, and press releases across relevant media platforms Coordinate interviews, press events, online campaigns, and media interactions Manage brand reputation and handle crisis communications when necessary Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to align messaging and campaigns Contribute to social media and content strategy from a PR perspective Research industry trends, competitor PR activity, and suggest innovative tactics Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field 1–3+ years of experience in PR, media relations, or communications (freshers with strong internships/portfolios may be considered) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages a plus) Strong understanding of digital PR, media outreach, and content marketing Comfortable using PR tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Google Alerts) and MS Office/Google Workspace Creative thinker with strong networking and storytelling skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines remotely Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience working in a startup, media agency, or freelance PR projects Familiarity with social media and influencer marketing Graphic design, video editing, or basic content creation skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) Work Environment: Flexible working hours with clear deadlines Weekly check-ins via Zoom/Meet Encouragement of ownership, innovation, and leadership in your role Startup culture with a flat structure and creative freedom Hybrid culture with flexibility Job Type: Internship Contract length: 1 month Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Application Question(s): Do you have prior experience in Public Relations and Media ?
