Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PTG Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Ruby and will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining software solutions that align with our business objectives. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively to drive innovation and efficiency in our projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Ruby to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and test new features and functionalities.
Analyze and resolve technical issues ensuring optimal performance and reliability of applications.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices with team members.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Work closely with product managers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
Ensure that all software development processes comply with industry standards and company policies.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
Utilize agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
Support the deployment of applications and provide post-deployment support to address any issues.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of Ruby programming language and its frameworks.
Demonstrate experience in developing scalable and efficient software solutions.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Have a solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
Show proficiency in version control systems like Git.
Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
