Role Overview:

Proposal Writer focused on SLED (State, Local, and Education) markets

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and track SLED-based IT/Technology projects using procurement tools such as BidNet, GovWin, SAM.gov, and others
• Analyze RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and identify response requirements and evaluation criteria
• Write compelling, customized proposal content in response to government solicitations
• Collaborate with technical, sales, and legal teams to gather input and ensure alignment with project scope and pricing
• Maintain a repository of past proposals, templates, company documents, and boilerplate content for reuse
• Coordinate with U.S. business development teams to align priorities and deadlines
• Stay updated on trends and requirements in U.S. government contracting (SLED market focus)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience writing government proposals (preferably U.S. SLED market)
• Strong understanding of the SLED procurement lifecycle and documentation standards
• Familiarity with online bid sourcing tools like BidNet, Bonfire, DemandStar, etc.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with U.S.-based clients or government agencies
• Exposure to IT services/solutions, ERP/CRM platforms, or custom software development
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, Data Privacy Framework)
