As an Accountant for our real estate investment funds, you will be responsible for managing accounting and financial reporting. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing accounting and financial reporting for multiple real estate investment funds. - Performing regular bank and vendor reconciliations, resolving discrepancies. - Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. - Using accounting software such as Yardi, RealPage, and SAP for financial data management. - Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline operations. - Supporting recruitment, training, and mentoring of junior accountants. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred). - Minimum 3+ years of experience in fund or property accounting, with strong exposure to real estate. - Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi, RealPage, or SAP. - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to resolve discrepancies. - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Effective communication skills (written and verbal) for working with internal and external stakeholders. - Proven leadership or mentoring experience is an advantage. - Business acumen with the ability to drive efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.
