Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – Government Building Construction Projects

Location: Bangalore

Experience Required: Minimum 15 years (Preference to candidates with CPWD Building Construction Project experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution & Management: Overall management and execution of Government Building Construction projects.
• DSR & Billing Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of DSR (Delhi Schedule of Rates) and its application.
• Preparation and verification of contractor, subcontractor, and client bills.
• Planning & Monitoring:
• Preparation of bar charts, work schedules, and progress monitoring reports.
• Tracking and managing quantity deviations with proper documentation.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Preparation and submission of Daily Labour Report (DLR) and Daily Material Report (DMR).
• Maintenance of site records, progress reports, and billing registers.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
• Drafting and handling project-related correspondence with clients, consultants, and government authorities.
• Ensuring compliance with contract terms and government procedures.
• Manpower & Resource Planning:
• Labour calculation, manpower arrangement, and site deployment.
• Daily monitoring of workforce productivity.
• Contracts & Agreements: Drafting and managing agreements with contractors/subcontractors, ensuring all obligations are met.
• Problem-Solving & Site Handling:
• Ability to handle site situations independently, including disputes, resource shortages, or unexpected challenges.
• Taking corrective actions to avoid project delays.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to CPWD specifications, quality standards, and site safety norms.

Candidate Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Experience: 15+ years in execution & management of Government Building Construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of CPWD specifications, DSR, and government contract procedures.
• Proven track record in billing, reporting (DLR/DMR), contract management, and client coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera / Excel for planning and reporting.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.

Preferred Profile:

• Candidates with CPWD Building Construction Project experience will be given preference.
• Ability to manage labour, materials, billing, and client relations with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
