Role Overview

Project Manager


Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Retail/E-Commerce technology projects

  • Define project scope, timelines, delivery milestones, and cross-team dependencies.

  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.

  • Ensure delivery timelines, quality standards, and escalation workflows are properly maintained.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with engineering, QA, DevOps, architecture, product, design, and business teams.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.

  • Ensure alignment across all teams for smooth execution.


Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate project updates, dashboards, risks, and decisions clearly to leadership.

  • Manage relationships with business stakeholders and global teams.

  • Ensure project objectives remain aligned with business goals and KPIs.


Process & Governance

  • Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and compliance materials.

  • Drive adherence to SDLC, Agile, and governance standards.

  • Monitor resource utilization, productivity, and delivery metrics.


Technical Orientation

  • Retail/E-Commerce systems

  • Support discussions involving API workflows, system dependencies, and technology impacts.


Required Experience & Skills

Domain

  • Mandatory:


Project Management

  • 7–11 years of experience managing software/technology initiatives.

  • Strong in planning, estimation, risk management, dependency mapping, and execution control.

  • Experience managing multiple parallel workstreams.

  • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar PM tools.

Communication & Leadership

  • Excellent communication—both written and verbal.

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Proven stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and team coordination capabilities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, Agile or equivalent.

  • Experience working with distributed or global teams.

  • Knowledge of OMS, POS, e-commerce platforms, warehouses, supply chain flows, etc.


Soft Skills

  • High ownership and responsibility mindset.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity across teams.
