Project Manager - Operations (FMCG)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and oversee engineering or technical projects from initiation to closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and required resources.
• Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams including engineering, production, procurement, and quality.
• Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics (KPIs).
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present detailed project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, compliance, and company policies.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives aligned with project goals.
• Apply FMCG industry knowledge (if applicable) to enhance project execution and alignment with industry best practices.
• Deliver projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget, targeting >95% on-time completion.
• Lead and motivate teams including Production, Operations, Technicians, and HR.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee administrative project operations, including office management, documentation, and support services.
• Supervise facility operations such as infrastructure, utilities, maintenance, and workplace safety.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of project management tools, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Technical expertise in engineering/manufacturing projects.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• FMCG operations experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related engineering fields.
• MBA or Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Experience:
• 3–7 years of experience in a project management role.
• FMCG sector experience is preferred and considered advantageous.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
