highly skilled Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimation & Project Planning

  • Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets.
  • Review tender documents, client specifications, and drawings.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and techno-commercial offers.
  • Develop project schedules with milestones and timelines.

2. Site Visits & Client Coordination

  • Conduct initial site visits to understand scope and constraints.
  • Provide technical input during client meetings and negotiations.
  • Act as the 

    primary point of contact

     for clients and consultants throughout the project.

3. Design & Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams for PEB drawings, anchor bolt layouts, and civil/structural designs.
  • Validate drawings for constructability and practical execution.
  • Ensure timely release of “Good for Construction” drawings.

4. Production Planning & Procurement

  • Plan fabrication schedules in line with site requirements.
  • Monitor production progress at factory and ensure quality control.
  • Coordinate procurement of steel, plates, roofing, cladding, and accessories.
  • Track material dispatches to site as per project schedule.

5. Site Execution & Monitoring

  • Supervise foundation, erection, roofing, cladding, and finishing works.
  • Manage subcontractors, labor, and equipment deployment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and timeline requirements.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.

6. Project Completion & Handover

  • Monitor snag lists and ensure rectifications before handover.
  • Prepare final documentation including as-built drawings, quality reports, and completion certificates.
  • Conduct client walkthroughs and obtain approvals.
  • Support accounts/finance team in payment milestone certifications.

Requirements

  • Education:

     B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience:

     7–12 years in project management (preferably PEB / Industrial / Infrastructure sector).
  • Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of estimation, design review, and production planning.
  • Expertise in site execution of civil & steel/PEB projects.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Tamil (Hindi is an added advantage).
  • Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera (preferred), AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Other:

     Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
