Job Title: Job Title: Project Manager – Construction Department: Construction / Project Management Location: Indira Medical College Hospital, Tiruvallur (Near Chennai) Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager – Construction to lead and manage all phases of construction projects, from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in construction management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the entire life cycle of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout. Lead cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants. Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and resource plans. Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to management. Manage contracts, procurement, and negotiation with vendors and subcontractors. Conduct site inspections and ensure work quality and safety standards are upheld. Resolve issues, conflicts, and delays that arise during the construction process. Mentor and guide junior project engineers. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
