Project Manager (Civil)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Project Manager (Civil) to lead and oversee large-scale civil engineering and construction projects from initiation to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects while ensuring quality, safety, timelines, and budget adherence. The role demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute civil engineering projects in line with client requirements and organizational objectives.
• Oversee project design, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Supervise and guide site engineers, contractors, and project staff to ensure smooth workflow and progress.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and statutory regulations.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve design and execution issues.
• Review and approve BOQs, bills, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Prepare progress reports, presentations, and documentation for management and clients.
• Lead project review meetings and ensure timely escalation of issues.
• Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement processes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within agreed specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Construction/Project Management preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in project management within civil engineering/construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, codes, and project execution practices.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project/Primavera) and AutoCAD.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel and manage multiple project sites when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per year
