Project Manager (Civil)

Role Overview: As an experienced Project Manager overseeing the ongoing construction project of an upcoming 5-star hotel in Bangalore, you will be supervising the civil team and laborers on-site, ensuring timely project delivery, and reporting directly to the Managing Director. Your role will require providing in-person supervision across different project locations, with a personal vehicle provided for daily commuting between sites. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations and civil construction activities at project sites. - Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and the labor force to ensure quality and safety standards. - Supervise and manage the performance of the civil team, ensuring alignment with project timelines. - Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to the MD. - Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications, within budget, and on schedule. - Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including vendors and project staff, to maintain smooth operations. - Implement best practices in construction management to improve efficiency and safety. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field like mechanical (preferred). - Proven experience in managing civil construction projects, ideally in hotels or commercial multi-storey buildings. - Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. - Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. - Experience in dealing with contractors and laborers, with a focus on delivering projects on time. - Willingness to travel to project sites regularly. - Professionals with a strong background in construction management with prior experience in the construction of hotel and resort projects in India are highly encouraged to apply.
