New Building Project Manager – Shipbuilding Industry Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for shipbuilding? We are looking for a highly skilled New Building Project Manager to oversee the construction of aluminium vessels . This role requires expertise in managing shipbuilding projects from concept to delivery, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on prestigious projects in Goa and Mumbai while leading a team and making a significant impact in the industry. Key Responsibilities 🔹 Project Planning & Management Oversee the entire shipbuilding process, from design to final delivery. Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Ensure adherence to technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. 🔹 Shipyard Supervision & Reporting Monitor day-to-day shipbuilding activities and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to track project progress. Provide reports on project status, budgets, and potential risks to senior management. 🔹 Quality Assurance Ensure all aspects of the vessel construction meet industry and classification society standards. 🔹 Delivery & Commissioning Oversee the final delivery process, including sea trials and vessel commissioning. Ensure all certifications and compliance documents are in place before handover. Qualifications & Requirements ✔ Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture , or a related field. ✔ Minimum 10 years of experience in shipbuilding project management. ✔ Strong knowledge of shipbuilding standards and classification society regulations. ✔ Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills. ✔ Willingness to travel as required. ✔ Preference : experience in aluminium builds 📍 Location: Mumbai This is an incredible opportunity for a highly driven and experienced professional to contribute to world-class shipbuilding projects.
