Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining ABB as a Project Management professional, responsible for leading the execution of medium-size and/or complex to large projects. Your main tasks will include overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities, supporting team development and process improvement, and ensuring project goals are accomplished. This position will help build the talent pipeline for ABB's business units in various locations in India. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee project hand-over, planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources. - Provide leadership in continuous improvement and simplification efforts. - Support local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders. - Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer in accordance with the contract. Qualifications Required: - Hold an engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics. - Have 7-15 years of experience in project management with products like Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Traction converters, High Transmission Motors, DCS, PLC, SCADA, Switchgears, Low Voltage/Medium Voltage Panels, Low Voltage/Medium Voltage Products. - Possess advanced knowledge of project planning tools such as Primavera, MS Project, and SAP. - Demonstrate skills in team management, negotiation, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership. - PMP Certification will be an added advantage. - Comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.,
