This position is at grade 14 and reports to the IS Program Management Office Manager. As a Portfolio Services Process Specialist within the Office of the CIO, you will play a crucial role in facilitating ELIP IS strategy. You will work towards strengthening organizational maturity by establishing consistent standards, processes, and tools to ensure effective governance and increase IS value to the business. Collaborating with the Portfolio Services team, you will enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality across the ELIP IS organization. Your responsibilities will include developing, managing, and refining processes, policies, tools, cadences, governance, and documentation for ELIP IS functions. You will prepare and maintain relevant materials, deliver training, conduct audits, and proactively contribute to continuous improvement within Portfolio Services under the guidance of the Portfolio Services Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for ELIP IS processes, tools, cadence, and governance to ensure accuracy and accessibility. - Training and Support: Provide training on ELIP IS processes and tools, support Portfolio Services in managing cadence and governance, and participate in implementing and updating processes, tools, and governance structures. - Auditing and Validation: Audit and validate written materials for completeness, accuracy, and simplicity, and propose corrective actions based on identified risks. - Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports and dashboards, implement measurement and reporting mechanisms to track KPIs, and drive improvements in reporting efficiency. - Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to enhancing documentation, processes, tools, and cadence, engage with stakeholders to resolve issues, close gaps, and implement improvement initiatives. - Compliance and Collaboration: Ensure adherence to corporate ABB IS policies, EL level security, and compliance mandates, collaborate effectively with stakeholders and peers to ensure clear and accurate information is presented, and processes are consistently followed. - Record Keeping: Manage storage of relevant materials based on access needs, including ELIP IS access, Portfolio Services records, and cadence and governance documents. Qualifications: - University degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field. - 2-5 years of relevant work experience. - Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills. - Strong Interpersonal Skills: able to listen, articulate clearly, and collaborate. - Analytical Skills: able to dissect complex information, identify issues/actions, and apply logical reasoning to assignments. - Process Experience: definition, improvement & optimization. - Initiative-taker: Proactively initiates and manages work on complex assignments with limited supervision.
