About the Role

Landbase Consulting India Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Lead


Key Responsibilities

  • Design Coordination:

     Review drawings and coordinate effectively with consultants and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regional bye-laws and IS codes.
  • Project Planning:

     Prepare detailed project schedules using 

    Microsoft Project

    , track progress on a fortnightly basis, and align vendor schedules with overall project timelines.
  • Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

     Develop accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Tendering & Procurement:

     Evaluate tenders, negotiate contracts, and oversee the procurement process.
  • Contract Management:

     Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and project-specific requirements.
  • Measurement & Valuation:

     Conduct precise quantity take-offs, valuations, and variations during the initial project stages, while mentoring and monitoring the team throughout execution.
  • Quality Certification:

     Oversee site quality control, guide teams and vendors on corrective measures, and ensure adherence to project standards.
  • Risk Management:

     Identify potential financial and operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:

     Maintain smooth communication and collaboration among clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Project Closure:

     Manage the final accounts and handover process, including dispute resolution where necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in 

    Civil Engineering

     or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 

    10 to 15 years

     of relevant experience in construction project management.
  • Proficiency in 

    Microsoft Project

     and strong understanding of project scheduling.
  • Demonstrated expertise in 

    quantity estimation, cost control, budgeting, procurement,

     and 

    vendor management.

  • Excellent ability to interpret and coordinate drawings and technical documents.

  • Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, codes,

     and 

    regulatory requirements.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication,

     and 

    interpersonal

     skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as 

    RICS, PQS, or PMP

     will be an added advantage.
