Project Head – Solar Films

Position Overview:

The Project Head – Solar Films will lead the end-to-end execution and scale-up of solar encapsulation film projects (EVA/POE/TPO), from concept to commercialization. The role involves strategic planning, plant setup, process optimization, vendor development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Drive project execution for solar encapsulation film manufacturing, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Technical Oversight: Supervise process design, equipment selection, and production setup for EVA/POE/TPO films.
• Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and technology partners for raw materials, equipment, and process support.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Production, and Supply Chain teams for seamless project delivery.
• Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to enhance film quality, production efficiency, and material utilization.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure alignment with industry certifications, safety norms, and environmental regulations.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term business strategy for solar film production and integration into the solar module supply chain.
• Team Management: Build and mentor a high-performing project and technical team.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical, Polymer, or Materials Engineering (or related discipline).
• Experience: 10–15 years in solar encapsulation film manufacturing or solar materials, with proven exposure to EVA/POE/TPO films.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of polymer extrusion, lamination, and encapsulation technologies.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
• Vendor & Supply Chain Exposure: Hands-on experience in vendor development, equipment sourcing, and supply chain optimization.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹4,500,000.00 per year
