Project Director

You will be joining Gleeds, a global property and construction consultancy with over 150 years of expertise, operating in 28 countries worldwide. As a Project Director based in Surat, Gujarat, your responsibilities will include: - Advising at a strategic level during the project conception stage, offering advice on different approaches to achieve the client's objectives successfully. - Leading the entire project to meet success criteria in terms of time, cost, technical aspects, and performance parameters. - Planning for and managing quality, safety, health, and environmental issues throughout the project. - Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilized. - Developing and delivering a detailed project plan. - Advising on the procurement of resources and leading the cross-functional project team. - Applying performance management techniques and using KPIs to enhance project performance. - Managing the change control process and advising on project finances. - Facilitating communication between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications. - Ensuring the production of formal project progress reports and other necessary documents. - Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages. - Identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities and enhancing project management services. - Leading client meetings with Assistant Directors and overseeing project documentation. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A B.E/B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent with at least 15-20 years of experience. - Preferably be RICS and MRICS qualified or equivalent. - Experience working on large-scale Mall or Mixed-use complex projects. - Strong English oral and written communication skills.
