Project Director

Role & responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead complete lifecycle of high-rise building projectsfrom planning, design coordination, procurement, execution to handover.
  
• Ensure adherence to project schedule, RERA timelines, and contractual SLAs.
  
• Drive project performance with focus on cost control, productivity, and quality delivery.
  

2. Technical & Engineering Oversight

• Supervise structural works: Piling, raft foundation, core wall construction, PT slabs, MIVAN/Aluform, jumpform systems.
  
• Review engineering drawings, value engineering proposals, and construction methodologies.
  
• Coordinate with design consultants, architects, and structural engineers.
  

3. Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with client leadership, consultants, government authorities, internal teams, and subcontractors.
  
• Represent L&T in project review meetings, statutory approvals, and client escalations.
  

4. Contract & Commercial Management

• Review and manage contracts, claims, variations, and billing milestones.
  
• Monitor BOQ consumption, subcontractor performance, and procurement planning.
  
• Drive cost optimization and ensure project profitability.
  

5. Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Implement L&Ts EHS standards, conduct site audits, and ensure zero-incident culture.
  
• Maintain highest standards in quality assurance (QA/QC) for high-rise structures.
  
• Ensure compliance with national building codes, IS standards, and local regulations.
  

6. Team Management & Leadership

• Lead a team of 100+ engineers, construction managers, planning, QS, safety & quality teams.
  
• Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and implement workforce development.
  
• Encourage a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Proven track record of executing high-rise buildings (20 to 80 floors) or skyscraper projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of modern construction systems (MIVAN, Jumpform, Slipform).
  
• Expertise in Planning tools: Primavera P6, MSP, BIM coordination.
  
• Excellent understanding of contracts, FIDIC, and commercial management.
  
• Leadership presence with ability to manage large multi-disciplinary teams.
  
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client handling skills

Preferred candidate profile

• 20+ years experience in high-rise projects with minimum

  one megaproject

  delivered as Project Director/Project Head.
• Experience working with major EPC companies

• Strong execution mindset with ability to handle pressure, fast-track schedules, and complex construction challenges.
