Project Cost Controller

Location: Thane, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a seasoned Project Cost Controller cum Planner with a strong background in EI project execution . The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, planning, cost optimization, and controlling of EI and Automation projects being executed across India. This is a hybrid role requiring expertise in both cost control and project planning functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Control:

Monitor and control project budgets throughout the lifecycle.

• Analyze cost performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
• Collaborate with procurement and project teams to ensure cost efficiency.

Project Planning Monitoring:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Track project progress, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Identify delays and inefficiencies; propose mitigation strategies.
• Generate weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards.

Project Execution Support:

• Provide planning and cost control support to project execution teams at various sites.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field execution teams to ensure alignment.
• Support site teams in planning look-ahead schedules and resource allocation.

Documentation Reporting:

• Maintain records for budgets, change orders, actuals, and variances.
• Interface with clients for schedule and cost reporting.
• Provide insights for management review on performance KPIs.
• Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in EI project execution, planning, and cost control.
• Experience in executing and monitoring Pan India Projects .
• Industry background in Oil Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Chemical, or Pharma is essential.
• Proficient in Excel-based cost control tools .
