Location: Jubilee Hills, HyderabadType: Full-TimeReporting To: Business Lead / CEO (Founder) – Peek-a-ZooDuration: 6-12 months (with potential for extension)

Peek-a-Zoo is an innovative social enterprise focused on empowering women in Tier-1, 2 and 3 cities through education and livelihood opportunities. We aim to build a scalable franchise model that creates impact at the community level, fostering women entrepreneurship and inclusive growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and passionate Community Engagement & Implementation Manager to lead grassroots outreach, recruit women entrepreneurs, and coordinate operational activities for the pilot and expansion phases of Peek-a-Zoo. This role is critical in translating strategic plans into impactful community-level actions, building trust, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute community outreach and awareness campaigns targeting women entrepreneurs in Tier-2/Tier-3 towns.
  • Organize and facilitate community engagement activities, orientation sessions, and onboarding of women entrepreneurs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community leaders, NGOs, government agencies, and partner institutions.
  • Support women entrepreneurs through initial training, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate logistics for outreach events, training sessions, and community meetings.
  • Track recruitment, enrollment, and engagement metrics; maintain data and prepare progress reports.
  • Collect community feedback and relay insights to the core team for iterative improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with the implementation team to ensure operational readiness at pilot centers.
  • Support local marketing and trust-building activities to generate community buy-in.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • 3+ years’ experience in grassroots community outreach, rural/urban development programs, or social enterprise environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities in field conditions.
  • Self-motivated and proactive problem solver.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside conventional office settings.
  • Fluency in local language(s) and familiarity with community dynamics.
