Program Manager

Job Summary

The Program Manager, Technology Projects is responsible for leading and delivering technology-driven projects that enhance the operational efficiency, safety, and compliance for our fleet. This role focuses on managing the end-to-end lifecycle of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless integration across the organization.

Description of activities (expanded version of key responsibilities)

• Plan, execute, and deliver technology projects, including software implementations, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives for the fleet.
• Ensure technology solutions enhance vessel operations, crew efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with Technical, Procurement, Marine and QHSE teams to align technology projects with business needs.
• Track and report on project ROIs
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to integrate new technologies with existing systems.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to contracts.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user guides.
• Drive process improvements through technology, focusing on automation and data-driven decision-making.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education –

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering.
• MBA (Preferred from Teir-1 Institute Only).
• Relevant certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are advantageous.

Experience -

• Minimum 10 years of Program or Project Management, with at least 3 years leading technology projects in Maritime Industry.
• Familiarity with maritime technology Systems (PMS, Noon Reports, CII, QHSE etc.)
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
• Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
