Program Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of information security projects. The goal of this role is to ensure the security of our organization's information systems, networks, and data, while also meeting the needs of our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for information security projects.
• Identify and prioritize projects based on business needs and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

2. Security Project Execution:

• Oversee the implementation of security projects, including vulnerability management, penetration testing, and compliance assessments.
• Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.

3. Risk Management:

• Develop and implement risk-based project plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that risk management is integrated into project planning and execution.

4. Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate project plans, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and external partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security projects are integrated with business operations.
• Provide security awareness and training to employees and stakeholders.

5. Compliance and Governance:

• Ensure that projects are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain governance policies, procedures, and standards for information security projects.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, trends, and technologies in the field of information security.
• Collate Information Security related KPIs/KRIs and report them for Senior managements attention.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security project/program management, with a focus on security projects.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and version control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Certifications in Project Management are an advantage.
• Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
