About The Role
As a Program Manager for Site Technology at Uber, you will lead initiatives focused on implementation and optimization of Audio/Visual (A/V), Network, and on-prem IT technologies across our global footprint of over 300 offices. Based within the Digital Experience team, you will own and drive project execution for integrating these critical infrastructure technologies.Your primary focus will be leading projects to ensure seamless and standardized deployment of A/V, network, and on-prem IT solutions. You will work closely with Workplace and business leaders to align cross-functional teams and ensure delivery with measurable outcomes.You will oversee execution, track progress against key metrics, proactively resolve blockers, manage risks, and communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strategic thinking, and the ability to energize teams towards ambitious goals, ultimately ensuring Uber's physical spaces are technologically robust and efficient.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end projects to derive measurable value from A/V, Network, and on-prem IT investments across Uber's workforce, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to prioritize initiatives, define milestones, allocate resources, and drive execution excellence for cross-functional programs.
- Oversee design and deployment of standardized A/V and corporate network solutions for new office builds, expansions, and renovations, ensuring scalability and compliance with Uber standards.
- Manage IT aspects of office MACs (Moves, Adds, Changes) - covering cabling, network, and A/V - with minimal disruption to business operations and strong vendor coordination.
- Supervise 3rd-party system integrators, review architectural drawings for on-prem technology markups, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct site surveys, maintain IT documentation, and ensure all deployments comply with IT security policies and established procedures.
- Provide technical guidance, track project risks and dependencies, and communicate progress, outcomes, and learnings effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional technical programs in global enterprise environments.
- Proficient in managing programs and projects using tools like Jira, Asana, or MS Project, with strong organizational skills to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to understand challenges and risks in IT infrastructure implementations and make data-driven, analytical decisions to mitigate them.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Metrics-driven mindset with a focus on defining, tracking, and achieving measurable program success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
