The role involves defining program objectives, scope, and success metrics while developing and maintaining the program roadmap, schedule, and resource plan to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and stakeholder expectations. It requires overseeing end-to-end execution of all projects under the program, tracking progress, managing dependencies, resolving escalations, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones within budget and quality standards. The position demands monitoring KPIs and providing data-driven insights to leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams including project managers, product teams, engineering, operations, finance, and executive leadership, and facilitating effective communication across all program teams. Responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for program-level updates, conducting regular status meetings, managing expectations, negotiating priorities, and ensuring alignment at all levels. Additionally, the role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating program risks and issues, developing contingency plans, ensuring adherence to governance processes, and conducting post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement. Budget and resource management are critical, involving planning, tracking, and managing program budgets, expenditures, and resource allocations to optimize efficiency.
The qualifications required include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field, along with 15+ years of experience in program or project management. A strong understanding of program management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches, proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects, excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
