Job Description

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This role involves leading a team of operators and technicians, monitoring workflows, resolving production issues, and driving efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
Plan manpower allocation and assign tasks to workers/operators.
Monitor machine operations, material usage, and production schedules.
Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
Implement and enforce quality control standards.
Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements for productivity.
Train and mentor production staff on processes and safety practices.
Maintain production records, reports, and shift logs.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (or relevant field).
3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing/production.
Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality standards.
Leadership and team management skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of ERP/MIS systems is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
